World Premiere Presentation of "Almas de Furia"

The NoHu International Film Festival presents the World Premiere Screening of the feature film "Almas de Furia" on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Union City Performing Arts Center, 2500 Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, NJ.  Red Carpet, refreshments & free admission.  Members of the cast and crew will be present.  Don't miss it. 

This is a co-production between CHE Contenidos, Marcos Paz Film Tv & Aires New York Film. The film stars Andrea Estevez, Pablo Yotich, Toti Ciliberto, Jimenda Grandinetti, Fernando Cipolla, Mabel Pessen, Rodolfo Machado, Ana Franco, Lucio Fernandez, Tony Rodriguez, Omar Sanchez, Roberto Peña, Sofia Elliot, Pamela Rodriguez, Ximena Riejel, Pablo Machado and Monica Salvador. Directed by Pablo Yotich and musical direction by Nazareno Andorno. Special appearance by Alejandro Fiore.

10th Annual NoHu International Short Film Festival in Union City

Seeking Entries for 2017

(Union City, NJ) The City of Union City will host the 10th Annual NoHu International Short Film Festival in October 2017. Submissions are being accepted in all categories. (NO pornography please.) Films should be no longer than fifteen minutes in length. Those interested may submit their film in DVD format, along with a cover letter, synopsis, film credits, awards if any, and contact information to:

Attn: NoHu Film Entry

Please include in the cover letter that the entry is being submitted by the property owner or licensee, and giving the City of Union City the right to publicly screen the film as part of the NoHu International Film Festival.  Please note, DVD's will not be returned.

Entry deadline is Monday, October 2, 2017 (no exception). No fee. No Application form required. Foreign language films accepted. This is a juried festival. Please include if this is a "World Premiere", "USA Premiere", "New Jersey Premiere", or "Union City Premiere". All entries will be considered. Finalists will be notified via e-mail. Please write on DVD cover contact name, email, and genre.

The 9th Annual NoHu ISFF Opening Night

The 9th Annual NoHu International Short Film Festival held in the City of Union City, New Jersey. Opening Night Red Carpet & Ceremony and screening of the short film "Old Abe" by Max Resto.  Live music by The James Austin Trio. Union City Commissioner of Public Affairs, Lucio Fernandez, who’s also the producer of the festival, served as MC.  The event was held at the William V. Musto Cultural Center.
